Meet the Team

Mark Curtis, DDS

Dr. Mark Curtis has been practicing dentistry in Owasso, Oklahoma, for over 21 years. He received his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University in 1991. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated in 1996.

His goal as a dentist is to make people feel comfortable coming to the dentist.

Dr. Curtis was born and raised in a rural area near Portland, Oregon. While in Texas, he met the love of his life, Jennifer, who he married in 1998. They headed back to Oregon where Dr. Curtis started practicing dentistry near Corvallis.

In 2002, Dr. Curtis and Jennifer purchased Dental Solutions in Owasso, Oklahoma. They have enjoyed the people and friends they have made since moving here. He is also a member of the Owasso Chamber of Commerce and is an advocate for the Owasso community.

The Curtis’s have four adult children, plus a bonus daughter who is from Brazil. Although most of his spare time is spent with family, he does enjoy golf, traveling and sports. His favorite sports are baseball, basketball, and football.

Fun Facts: Dr. Curtis has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain peak in Africa, and he has completed several New York City Marathons.

Stacie

Office Manager

Stacie has been with us since 1995. She started her career in dentistry in 1984. Throughout her journey, Stacie has acquired all expanded duty certificates available to dental assistants. Dental Solutions is a place that feels like home and where she has the privilege of working alongside her best friends. As someone who started as an assistant within the practice, Stacie’s extensive knowledge of both the back and front office operations allows her to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients.

Stacie is the mother of two daughters. In her free time she enjoys spending quality moments with her grandkids. She cherishes every opportunity to engage in activities with them. Stacie loves the outdoors and reconnecting with nature. She has two dogs, Dozer, a Frenchton, and Dyna, a French bulldog.

Jennifer

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer became a part of our practice in 2001. She began her journey in the dental field in 1997 when she graduated from the dental hygiene program at Tulsa Community College. Jennifer has since been an invaluable member of our dental practice, specializing in providing compassionate patient-centered care. Her passion lies in working as part of a team that delivers exceptional dental services while prioritizing the well-being and comfort of our patients. Jennifer’s commitment to continuous improvement is evident in her willingness to adapt and be flexible to changes that can enhance our practice and better serve the community.

When Jennifer is not busy caring for her patients, she finds joy in her loving family life. She is happily married to her husband, Gary, and together they are proud parents to three wonderful girls.

Susan

Registered Dental Hygienist

Susan began with us in April of 1999. She attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. Susan’s enthusiasm for her work stems from the incredible team she has the privilege of working with. She values the camaraderie and finds everyone in the practice to be awesome, forming lasting bonds with her colleagues and patients who have become her friends. Even on challenging days, she remains patient and upbeat, striving to provide the best care possible. She readily lends a helping hand wherever it is needed, demonstrating her commitment to the success and well-being of the entire team.

Susan shares a beautiful journey with her husband of 37 years Mark. They have one son. Susan loves boxers and has two, Bandit and Smokey, who bring warmth and happiness to their home. Susan is an avid reader and is particularly drawn to gripping mystery and crime books. Her ultimate happy place is the beach!

Mekel

Administrative Assistant / Dental Assistant

Mekel joined our office in January 2016. She graduated as valedictorian from Concorde Career Institute in 2007. What Mekel loves most about our practice is the wonderful work environment! She considers herself fortunate to have a great boss in Dr. Curtis, and she appreciates her coworkers. Mekel also enjoys working with our patients! As a team player, Mekel goes above and beyond to contribute to the success of our practice. She is always willing to fill in wherever she is needed, whether it is assisting in the back office or providing administrative support at the front desk.

Outside of work, Mekel enjoys camping and traveling. She is happily married to her husband James and together they have two sons. She has been blessed with three grandchildren, adding joy and fulfillment to her life.

Kymberly

Certified Dental Assistant

Kymberly started with us in August of 2021. She received an Associate of Applied Science degree from Cane College in 2011 and an Associate of Science degree from Tulsa Community College in 2021. Kymberly is drawn to the family-oriented nature of our dental practice, where our doctor takes the time to remember and connect with patients on a personal level. This compassionate approach creates a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and cared for. As a committed team member, Kymberly ensures that both our doctor and our patients receive the utmost attention and support, contributing to a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved.

Kymberly has one son and enjoys various hobbies. She has a green thumb and takes pleasure in gardening, nurturing plants, and creating a serene outdoor space. Being at the lake is another source of relaxation and happiness for Kymberly, where she can unwind and appreciate the beauty of nature. Additionally, she takes great pride in watching her son play soccer and football, finding immense joy and fulfillment in supporting his athletic endeavors.
